Tbh, the video may be more complex than some people think. I mean, I really like the theory about the hospital being Def Jam and Gaga not getting the 'gummy bears'. We will see eventually.
I'm so intrigued by this prelude and I cannot wait until we get the full video.
Oh and the MTN performance was amazing as well. Y'all wanted her to dance more so she did, so no one better be complaining about her vocals. Even though they were still great.

I really doubt she means this is a metaphor for her being dropped from Def Jam. That's kind of reaching. I think it's an actual clinic, like the cornfield was an actual cornfield, just with a piano with it.

You can clearly tell that she is singing live. At a few parts she sounds a little out of breath from the dancing. Of course though I'm sure they can't comprehend the idea of an artist singing AND dancing at the same time.

Did you watch the final part of the Google Goes Gaga interview? She talks about being dropped by Def Jam and she also refers to gummy bears.

You know what’s so funny? When I was on my first record label, I sent all the employees at Def Jam disco balls that I hand-painted myself, [with] Gaga written all over them. And I sent them huge bags of candies from the dollar store… and I got dropped a month later.
