Well my best conjecture is that Africa doesn't really have any "huge" stars, but Rihanna is well-known there. Hopefully that doesn't come across the wrong way.

Anyway, I do wish Rihanna would focus a little more on South America and also on Asia. While I doubt she could ever be a huge star in Japan, she could definitely do better.

Well, because she's pushing out albums so quickly that she doesn't have time. Asia and South America are usually end of tour places. Every artist hits North America and Europe first.

Kylie did over the summer. Even Kelly Clarkson toured Africa in early 2010.

IDK, but she should. Rihanna doesn't have to perform in a stadium venue, a multiple date arena appearance would suffice. She's pretty popular in Latin America so I don't see why not. As for whoever said foreign acts don't fair well in that region, that isn't true. Most big name international artists have all played there multiple times because of the large crowds they are able to draw and the huge boxscores as well.

Celine has always been traditionally popular in South Africa. She has tons of records in that area over the years. It's one of her biggest markets as far as fan support goes.

I've been questioning the same thing. She's really popular in my country maybe not as popular as Gaga or Britney but she would do better than Beyonce at least in Chile.

Shows are not selling as well as they used to a couple of years ago. Many artists are touring here but the tickets are so overpriced that people can't go to every show they want. Chile has the most expensive tickets in South America. Britney's tickets for the VIP area are almost 3 times more expensive than in Argentina.

She played here in the Philippines once back in 2008 and I watched it. I don't know if it's part of her tour though since it was marketed as Chris Brown and Rihanna's show.
