When a big pop girl like Rihanna launches a new campaign - the singles at the beginning are always more successful because of fans dying to get hold of new material. It has nothing to do with eclipsing the popularity of anyone. I'm pleasantly surprised by MTNs performance so far.

I don't see the point when they are so pressed about Katy or Rihanna getting #1 after #1 since those girls have a big digital power and release music that appeals to the public and to the radios. Yes, they are not able to create a hit song without the best producers...but they know how to stay relevant in the game.
