when the rumors of him producing gaga's album bornthisway arose he was very quick to publicly announce on his website that hes not working with her. And whenever anyone asks gaga what bowie thinks of her and if shes talked to him she always says 'thats private' which i take as 'HE HATES MY GUTS but im not gonna publicly announce that'
if her interactions with legends she holds near and dear to her heart was so private then howcome shes so quick to tell us how much madonna loves her? idk why bowie would hate her though. This isnt the first time someone got famous and listed him as their main inspiration and copied the **** out of him. *gestures towards avatar*

Yeah, you know, I think her and Bowie must have a super complicated relationship. I could see where one would be flattered, but I could also see where one would be pissed. I feel like if there was any aspect of Bowie that she should be trying to emulate, it's not the personas or performance, but the songwriting. I feel like Manson covered that a bit better, at least with Mechanical Animals. Gaga, on the other hand, rocked that lightning bolt and Fame-soundalike in her early performances without a ton of substance to back it up. I think that might have potentially corrupted a chance Bowie had to respect her.
I want to hear it straight from the horse's mouth, but it's like the tackiest thing in interviews now to ask a person what they think of Gaga. That's one of the reasons people are getting sick of her - it's like, ****, I'm not here to talk about her. I understand that. But I would still like to know.
