Because I know everything.
A company called Bonch edits all the best music videos in the industry. Jarrett Fijal has edited most of her videos (Bad Romance, You and I, The Edge of Glory, Just Dance)
And everyone already knew about the assistant director, Jonas Morales, but it was completely looked over.

The Adele thing is a stretch, and I don't see it either... Noone else fits the bill.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but she's had virtually dozens of professionals working on all of her videos this entire era. Even "You and I" had an assistant director that went uncredited. And he's worked in the industry for decades even under Ray Kay ("Poker Face" director) and Anthony Mandler ("Russian Roulette" director). And Judas had a great Director of Photography, Maz Makhani, who has been doing movies, commercials, and music videos for over a decade. Look at his previous work.
And all of her videos have been professionally edited by literally the best in the entire industry (the same people that edited Bad Romance, Single Ladies, We Found Love, E.T.)
So really... Marry the Night is no different.

Of course, I don't think anyone assumes Gaga alone actually does it all from scratch. But Gaga is at the inception of all her work - songs, performances, videos. If the video doesn't have a clear, strong direction at its inception (like the messy Y+I with all those nonsensical scenario tossed randomly together), no amount of polishing will save it.
It's like that building scenario I described earlier. If the foundation is weak, don't waste your time buying expensive furniture b/c the building will collapse.

It really shocked me for a moment. Bad Romance was edited very well, it even get a VMA Professional Award for its editing, but in YAI and The Edge of Glory's case was the editing one of the weakest parts of the video...

Hope this can sit nice and pretty inside the top 20 till the CIN performance on the 18th.
Then shoot up into the top ten. (And Hopefully stay there) till the video comes out and cums on top of everyone else in the top ten.
I see the tweeted performance is working its magic here too.

Working with Beyoncé was great (even though Telephone is one of her worst songs ever ), but I'd hate to see her doing a collab with someone like Rihanna, Katy, Britney, ...
I would love to see her working with someone like Gerard Way or Jared Leto though, but that won't happen.

The performance really made me like the song a lot more.
It sounds better live.
