LIES! Marilyn Monroe was slammed by tons of critics. She had her fair share of praise from them, but she always received plenty of back lash. Many didn't have respect for her as a person, especially when news surfaced of her affairs with the Kennedy Brothers and such. She was called a harlot on plenty occasions. Just how well do you know the lovely Marilyn Monroe?
What in your mind makes Marilyn Monroe more talented than Britney? Marilyn was at best a C actress. Outside of her acting career there really isn't much outstanding talent to go off of. Britney is an accomplished dancer, singer, gymnast, broadway performer, writer, producer, and so on. Like it or not, Britney defines Pop culture for the 21st century generation of music. Discredit her as much as you want, but the girl has talent and that said talent took her to unmeasurable heights, rewriting record books along the way.
Britney is not a great actress her damn self! I know you saw "Crossroads." Britney doesn't get a lot of respect either and Brtiney get slam by a lot of critic about her true vocal. Marilyn Monroe was a better vocalist than Britney in my opinion.
