Love Song is a huge hit in Canada. Did not expect it at all. It's been 20 weeks on that chart and it has never left the top 30.

I think it will end up selling a lot more. Holiday sales are around the corner and it should boost it quite a bit.

I see Love Song selling the same as Who Says & Naturally. Maybe a bit more.

Tbh, I'm happy Selena is going to perform LYLALS so it would definitely go platinum, but otherwise, I think it's pointless to release the HTL video now, because HTL deserves to be a hit an not just a music video made for Disney Channel.

Who knows? Lol cause it definitely doesn't look like double platinum is in the cards at this moment. Holiday sales will help, but I ultimately see it at 1.6 million at best.

The problem with Selena performing LYLALS at Ellen is that her performances of that song on TV thus far have been mediocre at best. They haven't impacted sales much whatsoever. It's radio play that's maintaining it's consistency.

I really dont get why she is performing LYLALS after Hit The Lights is coming out. Im not understanding the logic.

It doesn't need a performance to boost sales though. It will go platinum in 3 weeks or so.
And HTL musicvideo.. I hope that since NATURALLY and LYALS becames hits weeks/months after their videos was released, that the same will happen for HTL.

It's a wonder actually how these songs became so huge against the odds HWR chooses to put them up against.

Thats how they mess up her peak on billboard..it becomes a hit months later. Her team sucks.

HWR promoted her pretty good for this era tho, they didn't mess it up like they do usually. I think we have to accept that none of the HWR artists will EVER have a perfect era, but I think we should be happy for what they did this time.

Yaa they did, but it sucks that its messing up towards the end.

IKR. If they want to continue promoting Love Song then why release the music video for HTL now?

I'm happy with it going platinum. Although I'm pretty sure with the combined sales of the different versions of Love Song it's already past 1M.

Reason why HWR is realising Hit the Lights music video is to get people interested in the album since the Holidays are aproaching. But they'll continue to promote Love Song cause it's far from done. It's kind of a win/win situation. Lol

I just don't want things to get messy and then have HTL flop due to lack of promotion.

I hope HWR takes advantage of the holidays coming up and get her on more TV spots and such. Her sales are gonna increase regardless but with promo and the boost it'll get, it would help even more. I wish she was performing on the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade thing. Remember what that did for Hilary's Metamorphosis album? She went up to over 300k sold in that week! Now obviously I wouldn't expect WTSGD to increase that much but it would definitely give it a great boost!
