Her debut Animal has sold over 2 million copies worldwide and all four singles released from the album peaked in the top 10. TiK ToK was THE hit of 2010 and We R Who We R from the Cannibal EP sold rather well. But the follow-up single Blow didn't live up to expectations charts-wise. She's been out of the spotlight for most of 2011, insteading choosing to work on her sophomore album and apparently she's opted for some rock experimentation. Can we expect her electrorock sophomore album to sell as well, if not better, than Animal?
Will she shock and impress critics and fans alike? Will her singles smash but her album fail to sell? Will she still be the drunken ***** or will she update her image to appeal to a wider demographic?
Your thoughts?
