But, Katy has a team of people around her who she listens to. She uses professional directors for her videos and makes commercial songs. Same for Rihanna. That's what keeps them popular. If Gaga strays further away from this in her next era, she will not be big anymore. That's all I'm saying.

I know, and what you're saying makes a lot of sense. And Gaga has to do something about it (I don't know, collaborate again with profesional directors) too if she wants all the things she preaches on BTW to be conveyed.

Her career is far from over... I don't know if MTN will flop or slay or be a mediocre hit but she still got it. I do prefer her next album to continue the path of BTW and not be terrorized by the commercial stereotypes. I am not here for another Just Dance or Pokerface. They are fun ok but just plain fun. 20 years after or even more songs like "We Found Love" wont be heard anywhere. While songs like "The Edge OF Glory" and "You And I" will remain classics.
