Yup, just saw it. It isn't breathtaking like "Passion," but is quite silly and pretty entertaining. However, this is exactly wut the Japanese public laps up, so expect this to work wonders in Japan. see "Traveling" for future references.
Definitly different and not as good as Passion. But it would be a stretch to meet it.
What I notice about her videos for Japan (compared to the two english vids - Easy Breezy and You Make Me...) is that they are so damn cutesy, like she has to. I've recently discovered Ayumi Hamasaki and while she's nowhere as talented as Utada, her videos seem more...more aimed at someone not in 3rd grade. Yes yes, "Be My Last" is a more serious video, but its like these two go in different directions image-wise and I wish Utada could use her US image over there.
I LOVE IT! I bounce and it's jumpy and danceable, a VERY good change from the other, slower paced songs she's been doing. My favorite vid of hers BY FAR!
That was nowhere as good as Passions, but I liked it a lot. The snow scene and the bike scene were funny, but the scene in the middle with the toothbrushing was kinda... wierd...
