Then why is Clarkson included being that "Gone" was only a hit on a few stations ?
BTW, Usher had several other minor radio hits like "Redlight" and "Bad Girl".
And two other albums I completely forgot about were Paula Abdul's "Forever Your Girl" which boasted 6 Top 40 hits and Madonna's "Like A Prayer". There are more, trust me.

I hope your not taking what I said literally lol. I feel it's a shame people have written off an artist who was capable of breaking so many records. For example, both Throb and Where Are You Know weren't even singles. They were b-sides that managed to become big airplay hits. How often does that happen ?

As if Aguilera (or Lavigne, like the "article" says) is bigger than Britney. LMAO.

Radio success-wise, Aguilera and Lavigne are bigger than Britney. Avril had 7 singles make the top 20 on pop radio with her last two albums, and Xtina had 5 top 20's and 3 top 10's. Britney only had 4 top 20's from her last two albums.
Kelly has had 8 top 20's from her last two albums.

Kelly Clarkson is slowly becoming just as big as Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, and Jessica Simpson. She is already there to me. Anyways, "Gone" doesn't really count at all. However, her previous 4 singles:
1. ''Breakaway''
2. ''Since U Been Gone"
3. ''Behind These Hazel Eyes"
4. ''Because of You"
have been a huge success. All those who call her overrated are quite annoying and are just hating, as there is nothing to complain about her, unless you don't like people who have real talent and an awesome personality?

Jesus f‘cking Christ man, if people don't like Kelly Clarkson, let them! It's a free country (to some extent,) and therefore, I can say that she is OVERRATED. What the f‘ck are YOU gonna do about it?

Many artists are bigger than Britney on radio - Barely none has her appeal to the people or her millions of records sold. Britney never was radio friendly in the US, and we all know she NEVER needed that to be the biggest artist of the last ten years or so.

As those **** magazines ( Us weekly, Star..) don't care about her, I don't think she'll fall like some artists did. She's this kind of artist that everybody loves and will never be pursued by paparazzis. So I'm not worried about her futur !

Actually she hasnt. The only songs off her album that did really good (like kelly clarkson good) were hollabackgirl and rich girl. Half of the people that i have talked to have never even heard of "watcha waiting for" or whatever its called. And luxurious and cool have had mediocre success.
Oh and somebody up top made a comment about kelly being close to jessica simpson success or something, but jessica has never been that popular when it comes to music. Her songs havent done that well, she is just so popular because of who she is, her tv show and everything.
