Titillatingly, I've yet to jeopardise my eyes to this music video that sounds leerily like WFL. Such aporetic assumptions have been thrown around in the past however, and some turn out to simply be fallacies.
The "We Found Love" video is better, on a technical level, but I felt nothing and it feels put on -- another gimmick... which is clear from the spontaneous British accent. On the other hand, "The One Got Away" feels natural and genuine and evokes more emotion because it feels like Katy Perry, it feels real. I prefer "The One That Got Away."
Nicole, aren't you being a tad too cynical? I know Max Martin and Dr. Luke are puppetmasters but it's not like Katy has no personal stake in this song. And perhaps the reason she wants this one to reach #1 too is so that her label will be more open to having her to record and release songs like this in the future (since they seem to be her preference).
