If you read any article or website, it will say that BTW sold 1.11M first week. Which it did. Amazon deal or not, BTW sold over 1M in its first week.

With a Madonna song, lets not forget. The success of which was very short-lived. 9 weeks in top 10, ~15 weeks in top 40.
But anyways, I was talking about the album. And all the articles I seen always mention something like "discount-boosted", "99c", "dirty tactics", "such tactics", "amazon deal" etc etc. And it spent 5 weeks in the Top 10, same as FF btw.
She is really far from being #2 this year. #4 at best among women. #5-6 overall once you start counting people like Lil Wayne who sold almost a million "without resorting to such tactics" (that's a quote by Billboard by the way).
