Simon Cowell has allegedly claimed he thinks Cher Lloyd can be bigger than her former X Factor mentor, Cheryl Cole.
According to Now magazine, the music mogul believes the With Ur Love singer will eventually eclipse Chezza's achievements as a solo artist, with an insider telling the publication: "Simon knew that Cheryl had the potential to be a superstar."
"'He helped her get there by making her an X Factor judge, which was when her solo career really took off. He also sees something very special in Cher."
They added: "In fact, he thinks she could become even more famous and successful than Cheryl. It's early days, but he's delighted how things are going for Cher so far."
Cher has also revealed she regrets being badly behaved during her time on The X Factor, stating that some of this year's contestants need to "adjust their attitudes."
Speaking to The Metro, the 18-year old said: "I needed it back then. They will get it, they'll learn. I had to learn the hard way."
She explained: "I had to realise that my attitude stunk and now I do realise it and I'm a better person for it - I found me."
Not in terms of popularity. Cheryl's impact reaches beyond that of her music. I don't doubt that Cher has the potential to be more successful as a solo artist, though.
I think Cher is more talented vocally than Cheryl but Cheryl has a brilliant personality. She doesn't act like a diva and she talks like a normal person and sits on the same level as everyone else does. She doesn't act high and mighty but acts like your sister but with a Geordie accent.
Cher came across as a bit of a brat and I like how she's changed. It's people's personality which makes them popular besides their music.

!!!
I think Cher can be more successful than Cheryl as a solo artist, exactly. But because Cheryl has Girls Aloud under her belt, Cher can never reach the same status, or above.
