It's not a flop era at all, I've never said that. They hyped this album like it was the second coming of Christ and we know what's the situation right now. I'm happy about this winter promo because it will help sales, of course. But, on the other hand, we have to admit that she did tons and tones of promo (way more than other singers usually do) of any kind and the results were not as great as they expected them to be. That's a fact.

That's true. But we also have to consider most of the promo was done in full summer, and so it didn't reach 100% of its potential. Promo in Australia, Germany and Japan worked and made the album sell very well for months; in other countries, as France and US, it hasn't really worked much. We'll see how imminent UK promo works.

I know, but the promo was really heavy and big...even too much sometimes.

They've already laid out plans to market this album for 18 months. I don't know why you expect them to change all of those plans. It's not like she's flopping. Even without much support from the rest of the world, The Edge Of Glory is around 5M copies sold.
