You, too? No shade at all; like you said, her voice is great. I just don't get her appeal overall. Her songs aren't very good.

I do agree a lot of her songs suck, but her vocals make up for it. If she had better songs everything would be perfect.

Musical taste is not objective. That's the only explanation there is.

Because she's an indie queen. They're pushing her to be the next big indie bitch. It's not an ATRL thing, it's an Internet thing. She's very e-famous.

Her music is very brooding and sometimes it makes people think about things. IDK. She creeps me out a bit with her plastic appearance and super-wallflower personality, but she's kind of captivating.

Her voice is haunting, and as the result it can carry the tracks.
Not to mention some of her more upbeat tracks **** on almost everything on the radio atm.

I only like the Joy Orbison remix of "Video Games." Everything else is slow and sad.

I only like a few tracks by her tbh. Her videos and image are what really draw me to her though. I think she'll bring it with her debut album.
