Now about the voting...like I said...you only get one online vote per day. You also only get one phone vote per day per line. For instance, I have 3 phone lines. My house phone and 2 cell phones. So I get 3 total phone votes per day. Plus I have my computer so I get that online vote too. So, you can vote 200 times all you want but it's only the 1 vote that counts.

I know, but this person on the POD boards went to 8 malls and they each had like 40 phones and he made 1 vote with each phone and so that's how he got 200 votes. I do have a question though, if I vote 4 times tonight and 4 tomorrow before TRL comes on, does that equal 8 votes for tomorrow or would only the 4 for that day count?

40 phone lines you mean? If it were 40 phones, then it'd still count for like 1 set. I think the votes count per phone line...correct me if i'm wrong.

That's what I believe. It would be impossible to tally all the votes 5 minutes before the show, so I think the votes for the last day of the week, along with weekend votes, carry over to Monday.

P.O.D. should've gotten it today, though. WTF.

Does anyone else know if what Mockery said was true about how today's votes before today's TRL and any after it would go for Monday's countdown and then last night's votes would count for today's countdown?

If this is true, then POD should get #1 Monday, I hope so.

Yeah, but sometimes in big places the phone lines are trunked...at least the outgoing lines so you can have seperate phone lines but when it goes out it's still the same line so it will still only count for one vote.

Like where I used to work, they had hundreds of extensions that were different numbers but when your call leaves you are still on one number. So that might not work

I actually think it's pretty pathetic that POD fans would cheat like that. I will never recognize them as #1 if it does work. It's cheating plain and simple. As much as I love Ashlee I would never do something as pathetic as that LOL!

I've been disconnected from the net and cable for like 6 or 7 days so I missed to say to all the rock fans, P.O.D. didn't do it and I was right. Kind of pissed Madge took #1 though, my 6 year old brother loves the part when she's 'humping' the radio near the end, then he says they get crunk when they're on that dance dance thing.
