I thought the EMAs was going to do more for the single, but I'm hoping it will recover when the release dates come.
Yeah, but now with the upcoming performances in the UK and Germany (?) and the radio adds, it'll stay alive til the video is released, which should be soon
I guess the EMAs were never really going to have a huge impact. Ratings for non-terrestrial shows like that are never really all that massive, are they? In the UK this year, it would have had to contend with the X Factor and the Downton Abbey finale too.
Luckily she has proper mainstream TV promo lined up now also.
I am merely trying to point out that only big ratings can have a big effect on sales. The ratings for a show like the EMAs aren't in the same league as for a major terrestrial TV show. It generates a lot of press, but not huge ratings.
A far bigger effect should be seen after the X Factor performance.
