Jenny hitting rock bottom as one of my favourite rock song is playing. Perfect.
I first saw this movie when I was 15 and I thought I had no future.
In that sense I could relate to River Phoenix's character... The ending was brutal to say the least. There's also all the quote worthy dialogues and voice over. It was so authentic/real. And the Stand By Me instrumental was so haunting.
The first time I cried during a movie.
Quote:
Friend come in and out of your life like busboys in a restaurant.
Is he a boy ? Is he a girl ? It doesn't matter anymore in what is probably the most beautiful and intense karaoke scene I've ever seen.
Juts look at the chemistry and eye contact between Hilary & Chloé ! An they haven't even talk yet. A magical moment.
A show stealing performance from Sarah. The diary, the crying and the drug cross. And Bittersweet Symphony !!! The movie of a generation.
The perfect ending for one of the most disturbing movie ever made.
It's coherent with the unealthy mother/son relationship and Norman's facial expression and his mother's speech make us ill-at ease, one last time.

I'm not really a huge fan of Twilight, but the confrontation scene between Bella and Edward, where Bella was telling that he knows that Edward is a vampire is amazing. That whole scene, including the place, is just epic!
Bella: I know what you are. You’re impossibly fast. And strong. Your skin is pale white, and ice cold. Your eyes change colour, and sometimes you speak like, like you’re from a different time. You never eat or drink anything. You don’t go out in the sunlight.
........
Bella: How old are you?
Edward: Seventeen.
Bella: How long have you been seventeen?
Edward: A while.
.......
Edward: Say it. Out loud
Bella: Vampire

She is so different from the girl described in the book.
