Darkchild wanted it on the main album and a potential single. Team Britney refused to agree to those terms, as its not a Dr Luke/Max Martin production, etc. When Darkchild wanted the track back, they also said no.

At the same time, they told him because it'll only be a bonus track, they were happy to just mix the latest version of the track they had - despite it being a freakin' rough demo essentially. Cheap ass mothers...

So HATLM is an unfinished demo that was mixed, not even by Darkchild's mixer but some other guy. Britney doesn't even sing the HATLM chorus for God's sake. It's the actual demo.

So yeah, he's pissed because not only was a fresh beat wasted as a bonus track, it wasn't even finished properly before release.
