seriously? the most "respected" performer is adele.
those singers like adele, christina perri, colbie caillat, natasha bedingfield, florence and the machine are the respected performers because they have the best vocal ability and no gimmicks.
If I had to choose, probably Gaga, but because that's what I like out of performance - lots of spectacle. But tbh, this is like comparing a big fat ass apple and an orange with self-esteem problems.
Adele is a singer. Gaga is a performer, so I'd go with Gaga.
