As you know (maybe just for old members) that Atrl used to be "Group" Section. It is a place for members to join a particular group (Artist, community, etc) and talk about anything there..

I guess it was removed like 2/3 years ago, and never come back..

But IMO, group section will be take some advantage, such as:
- You can talk about the artist that you join in the group with no drama since in the group, of course haters won't come in
- You can share some major or minor news, sharing video like performance, debate for the most favorite songs/album/video from the artist, or else
- You can meet other stans that maybe you haven't see before and know each other, also in some kind of Country communities, you can talk with other people in your country and sharing something there
- and maybe some other advantages or suggestion that people here can share about..

so Atrl members, do you agree with this? and For moderators, can you all talk about this revival?

Why was it removed? It sounds like a good idea, especially since there's WAY more active users now than before.

If I was a moderator I would try to bring it back, sounds perfect.

First, it's only album thread, it's true that if it go out of topic then it will be reported

second, not all artists have album thread.. Some mid or underrated artists, never have a chance to have a discussion..

Basically this. Even if a high profile artist goes on hiatus there's no place to have general discussion.

Yes, the main point is having a place to discuss many artists.. not only the artist that really popular right now

I think this could be a good idea. When did ATRL used to have groups anyway? I don't remember them? Were they gone before I got here?

I remember the Group section. We had it in 2008. It was a social group section where members joined a particular topic on singers, food. movies, TV shows ect. I had one for 90's TV shows. I also remember some members creating clubs as there social groups one was called "The Cool Kids" and only the cool members joined . Kinda similar to what we have now, Teq Clique. It was removed because members got bored with it too quickly. It became pointless. So TC removed it.

The social group with the highest amount of members was "Latino Members"

I won't mind if it was bought back.

They should put that back.

Before I joined, I remember seeing the groups section. It was a good idea, I just don't know how it would fare now.

It was a great way to get to know other members that shared the same interest as you. I also had another one for Vegetarians and all the vegetarians members joined and we discussed our love for animals.


You also had the option to make your group public or private. If the group was private, you had to send a request to the member who created the group if you could join the group.

I guess we have a great response here

People get bored so quickly before maybe because there are less member here 3 years ago than now..

I hope mod will consider this

Sounds pretty neat. I'm here for it. I could create a group for High School kids to talk about different topics like classes, homework help etc... I'm here for that!!!!!
