She can do whatever the **** she likes in her performances. She could come out stark naked, a swatsika in one hand and an "I heart slavery" banner in the other, scream "HAIL HITLER" for 20 minutes and then walk off stage. That's perfectly within her rights. But obviously, nobody would want that abomination in their venue. Your college is well within its right to decide who can or cannot play at their venue because
they own it. Kreayshawn can buy her own venue and have complete artist freedom, provided it doesn't breach other laws.
It's like this forum. You have every right to think gay people deserve to be burnt at the stake, but if you start spamming that around ATRL you're gonna get banned. Because ATRL is a privately owned forum and can censor what they like.
There are other complaints you can make about your school in this situation; like you said, "they still have the choice of not going". But freedom of speech/expression isn't relevant here.
