Obviously Justins voice is going to be strained. The terms of doing the song together was that Justin was to sing it in Mariahs original key, he wasn't allowed to do it in any other; Scooter (JB's manager) said in an interview that a year ago this would've been easier but it was difficult for Justin to do it because his voice had matured. Of course he isn't gonna hit those notes flawlessly without putting some effort in lol.
