The itunes updates are good!. MTN is top 200 on ITUNES POP TOP 1000. Today or tomorrow will be on top 1000. And there is a lot of promo to come..

Well,at charts you are right. Judas is her only flop.But it's clear that she has lost some popularity this era.That's what I tried to meant with "flop era"

Yes, she losts something of popularity with born this way. Because the album is not the typical generic pop of Katy Perry, Britney, Ke$ha..

well, The Fame Monster was kind of a transition in my opinion. When Bad Romance came people realized she was not all about Party Rock Anthems. So it was not all of a sudden, I guess.
You have a point though - Madonna took years in maturing her sound, and she was successful when she did. I'm obviously not saying Gaga has to exactly follow Madonna's career, , but it's still a nice example.

I'm not gonna pretend Gaga hasn't alienated her casual fanbase this era, because she has. Trying to shift in genre considering your previous one can be really bad for the casual. Katy has had AMAZING radio power this era. She makes "easy" music, that + the casual has had a strong showing in her. This is her peak as one would call it.


Rihanna isn't really doing too well, WFL jumped up to #5-6 ish based off of fans, then radio came in to help(MTN doesn't have the radio help yet). Video came after that and boom, #1. CKB and Mandown didn't have that "strong digital power" you speak of. Those two artist aren't really good comparisons, imo.

She isn't spilling anything, you have to be really delusional not to realise she has lost digital power.

I don't know about the fanbase in general though. Her shift from glamorous party diva to equality mother monster surely wouldn't be taken well by everyone.

That is true. I'm a Gaga stan BUT her three first singles are GARBAGE (JD/PF/LG), all of them are terrible, without meaning songs that don't say ANYTHING.
She sold more singles in that time? OK, but she was not a great artist, like she is now.
Every song on BTW just ***** on every TF songs.

Do you really think that a song like Poker Face is better than Edge of Glory? Please, don't.
