iMO she seemed pissed about the stunts being cut out on twitter. There was none of the usual parading and excited tweeting when it was released.
I hate that her label keep on trying to make EVERYTHING as safe as possible. From changing the initial song choice, to making her release pop/rock stuff when people almost unanimously prefer her singing urban music, releasing Disaster before even shooting the video to see the response to the video and so on, cutting out all the remotely controversial parts of the video etc. It's absolutely ridiculous.
Incredible song! The video doesn't serve it enough justice, but she looks gorgeous! I really hope she get's the promotion she deserves - she practically owns this sound. Unlike many others who've tried, I believe she could still experience success in the industry if she's handled properly by her label. She'll forever have a fan in me.
She's grown up to be a gorgeous young woman. I hope her next single hits "harder" than this. This is a solid song, but it just sounds like two years ago and could be given to any former-Disney teeny bopper.
I really love JoJo and (I think I speak for many when I say) I have high hopes for her.
