He's not really rap, he's not really pop. You can't put him in a genre. No one respects him as a hip-hop artist because of his pop sound and no one labels him a pop artist either. :stickman:

It's interesting a good amount of you say "he doesn't have a fanbase" because the more I think about it, the more I realize I've never heard/seen anyone mention him as an artist they like rather a song he perhaps made. It's actually kind of sad, really.

To put it blatantly, Flo Rida's albums are absolute crap. That is the problem.

Even Pitbull has some substantial album tracks. LMFAO is just as much a singles artist as Flo Rida.

He has 0 credibility, he just makes party songs, and his sound is so generic, he is not a rapper, he is not a singer, he is nothing, he is given good beats that's why his singles are successful (well 3 of his singles)
