She's already been around in the music business for 15 years (first album at age 13).
And "Oral Fixation Vol. 2" overall received pretty good reviews:

* 9/10 from Popmatters.com (Album of the Year according to the reviewer. Also called Shakira the artist of the year)

* "B" from E! Online
* "B-" from Entertainment Weekly
* "B-" from Stylus Magazine
* "A wonderful disc" - Billboard (they don't give specific ratings, but that quote alone should say enough)
* "B" from Newsday
* 4 Stars from Top 40 on About.com (critic said "She could soon produce one of the masterpieces of this young century").
It's not like the album is bad. It's getting very good reviews. Just because it isn't selling an extraordinary amount doesn't mean it's a bad album. I swear, some people just like to complain. The nerve you have to diss Shakira on her own birthday.
