hmm...obviously someone is gonna say the Harry Potter Series, but I am going to go with mystery novels in general. Lilian Jackson Braun does a good job with the "Cat Who..." series. = )

I read a lot of books and there are quite a few that I like, but only one, to me, stands out, and that's "The Diary Of Anne Frank". Never read a book quite like it, it's the only book that has ever caused me to tear up.
