It becomes even worse as time goes on. Of course, my experience with ATRL is different from all of the others, but I think that most would agree with me. When you first join, it's really exciting and there is so much to talk about. But you stop giving a **** after awhile.

I wish there was a monthly PPD. Like, it only took into consideration how much you posted in a certain month.

I can DEFINITELY feel that coming on. I used to want to offer my opinion in almost every single thread that came up, but now I'm much pickier when it comes to the threads I post in and the threads I don't post in.

Me, too! For some reason I love being able to track things like that, so if I could follow my posts every month, I'd be very happy.

Me too in the beginning! Actually, when I first joined, I mostly just stayed in Rihanna threads. But after a month or so, I was in every single thread giving my opinion. A couple of months later, I began to realize that nobody really cares about opinions so I'm much pickier now. For every thread that I post in, there are atleast 10 that I read and exit out of without saying a word. That's what ATRL is meant to be used for, though, in my opinion.

I'm the same way! But then again, I already sometimes check the amount of times I've posted in a month. I'll either remember a post count from a certain date off of the top of my head, or look back in a thread where I remember posting my current post count at the time. It's really interesting.

Exactly. I lurk a lot more now. I do enjoy participating in conversation, so I don't lurk more than I post, but I definitely lurk way more than I used to.

That's part of the reason I want to try and avoid hitting 10k posts before the end of this year. If I hit 10k posts by the very start of 2012, then I'd be able to remember that as a sort of "landmark". I also try to do a blog every time I hit another 5k. In fact, I just realized based off one of my previous blogs that I hit 5k in late August, so I've posted about 2k times in the last month. Factors like a busier schedule and lessened interest in ATRL combined, I'm estimating I could hit around 9k by early December. Hopefully 10k by the end of the year is likely due to this.
