Why would Gaga end the era before going on tour

There will probably be a reasonable gap between the Marry the Night and the sixth single. Marry the Night appears to be the start of how the era is supposed to be. I just think everyone was banking on Gaga doing well, and she has (nearly double platinum in the US and 5 million WW) at the start - no matter what she released. I mean Gaga probably could have released Black Jesus, The Queen, Electric Chapel, and Fashion of His Love as the first four singles and probably had similar to success. But now it is time to get real, and that appears to be the case

I think gaga should release MTN and scheisse then take a break for a few months then come back with the vmas those songs should give her steam for a while!

Oh of course, who's saying she isn't . She has completely destroyed the careers of Madonna, Gaga, Britney, Beyoncé and Rihanna .

I don't understand this whole "take a break" thing in the middle of an album cycle.

I don't see Gaga taking a break during the album unless she is just done with this era as a whole. She has to promote the tour somehow. If the tour is to have the same type of fire as the Monster Ball, Gaga's not taking a break from singles. She said it herself, 'halfway through the album.'

She will be touring the for all 2012, so I think we will have at least 2 more singles .

Well that's true... BTW and TEOG have really been the most played singles this era I don't even consider judas to be a single in the US at least... To me MTN is the 4th single

Born This Way and The Edge of Glory seemed to be radio hits, but Judas and You and I didn't seem to really do anything special.

No, You and I actually got a pretty large amount of airplay for a ballad and is holding steady at 60m.
