I don't think all of her wardrobe "comes from the heart." Some of the things she's worn in the past definitely gave people a glimpse of who she was or where she was at that point in her life. A lot of her stuff though is off-the-wall just for the sake of being off-the-wall. She's established a precedent and she needs to maintain her reputation for wild, eccentric outfits even if she doesn't genuinely feel them. That's why I don't admire GaGa that much though; she's a dilettante.
