Rihanna touring the UK during 'Talk That Talk' release week
Is Rihanna's album going to disappoint in the US? Loud was a successful effort in both the US and Worldwide. It's obvious this album will do very well in the U.K., but is it ultimately set up to fail in the U.S.? Rihanna is booked worldwide touring for the rest of the year. How will she resurrect the album?
I'm concerned, I want this to do well. Although I guess at the end of the if the music is solid (which is Rihanna is consistent with that), then I'll be ok. But what are your thoughts?
People need to post this in the Talk That Talk thread when I was freaking out. You all immediately post in these new threads, but it takes a decade to get real information in the album thread.

We've discussed this a million times in the Talk That Talk thread, though.
I don't get why people care so much about the first week, her tour ends in december so she can't promote for 1 month only. Longevity is what matters and if she starts promoting after the Tour she will be fine, and maybe she can pre-tape some promo
DefJam has done VERY well by Rihanna, idk why people complain about that. They've given her lots of great pop songs to sing. What more can she ask for?
I don't know if there will be much of anything pre-taped so Def Jam better make sure she makes it to the AMAs for a performance! And they need to release a 2nd single or a promo single the week of the Album release. And last, hit hard with the last 5 missions of the 'UNLOCKED' game/album launch about a week b4 the album drops.

PROMO!!! She doesn't even get half the promo of Gaga/Katy/Beyonce
