lol, of course i was exaggeratin about the 12 yr old thing. I just find him annoyin but in truth his lyrics are standard fare. Maybe becos am a lyricist myself but I find them so tepid. Also, that he sold more albums than X&Y is hardly proof of talent. 50 Cent, Shania, Britney, Nysnc and Backstreet Boys have all had mega sellers - does this necessary imply critical acclaim. Moreover, most reviews have been mixed, and when I say mixed I mean in the 2/3 stars region...hardly critical acclaim.
its understandable why people wouldnt like james blunt because his voice is pretty different. some might find it pretty annoying but i and a lot of other people actually like it. and about his lyrics, i think they are pretty subtle but with substance. thats what i like about him... his records are very simple and straight forward. you can hate but you cant deny his talent. thats all!
