As I was watching a "gay" movie (Eating Out Drama Camp

) tonight, I was thinking how stereotypical writers/filmmakers always make our fellow sistren. It didn't outrage me, but it just frustrated me how atypical the characters were and how there seems to be no depth or caring about anything other than getting teh dick.
I mean, gay guys are almost always portrayed as these overtly femme, flamboyant, lustful and sex obsessed robots that all act the same. Now, there are definitely those types of gays but I don't find anything wrong with them or them being portrayed, it's just we're not ALL that way, and I think we are portrayed unfairly.
For once, I'd like to see a movie or show where there's a multi-faceted gay character who has much more depth than we're used to seeing.
Just my thoughts, maybe I'm overreacting.
