How can Kelly have stolen video concepts for videos she didn't direct?

How can one steal from one's self?...because of course Sarah Chatfield - who directed the videos in question - totally made that possible by stealing her own video concepts and using them for Kelly.

Everybody got on beyonce when she performed at billboard because allegedly she stole from someone else who performed something similar. But she used the same person that made that performance for hers at billboard and ppl didn't care so how does Kelly get off?
