The purpose of that thread was to speak-in-spanish ,but since black people speak Chinese .This "forum" is a dot dot dot.

But why do they call them "Black People" when their skin is kinda brown-ish?

Or when they call them "White People" when some of their skin is sort of tan-ish/peach-ish?

But Spanish is a language, anyone can learn and participate in it. You don't have much choice over the colour of skin you're born in to or your ethnic background, so I don't see how the Spanish thread could have been used as an example for this one because all colours, ages, races, cultures etc can use it. I'm not against this thread btw, I just don't agree with the correlation to it's basis by the Spanish thread. But anyway, guess I better leave cos I'm a different colour, but then I am a 'person of colour' (aren't we all really?) like you said but still, perhaps I'll go and find my Spanish dictionary and see what I can join in the Spanish thread .

I don't see a problem with this thread. I'm not black, but I have a huge appreciation for soul/rnb music, and it's nice to see a place to talk about it.
