"Mariah is gonna be tough to beat this year. I think a lot of people are gonna get behind Mariah because of the comeback story. Not to discredit her at all, but I think I deserve it over her, because "Gold Digger" sounds like nothing you've heard before. "Diamonds [From Sierra Leone]" doesn't sound like something you've heard before. And I stand by that statement, and I'm gonna say that to the end. And statements like that could be the very reason why she possibly could win over me. The thing that we tried to do with this album -- we weren't trying to just make good records, we were really trying to push the envelope and change music."
This immature loser is getting out of control. Somebody should tell him that Gold Digger is the worst song of last year.I really hope he returns home with empty hands.
What the hell is Kanye's problem? He said and I quote 'I think a lot of people are gonna get behind Mariah because of the comeback story. Not to discredit her at all, but I think I deserve it over her, because "Gold Digger" sounds like nothing you've heard before.'
Gimme a break, Golddigger sounds like something I've heard before....the song is bad, the beat is a little off and he's basically dropped from my faves since that single came out.
Just for that statement, I think that the Grammy committee should ban him from winning any Grammy's this year and ban him from attending the ceremony cuz he's acting like a moron.... he's not even that great....
Seriously, I hope he doesn't win the Grammy, he doesn't deserve it. He only cares about winning awards. Go away Kayne, seriously. Come back down to reality with the rest of us.
Ugh. I really hope he gets shut out in every category this year. Though he did have a point, before "Gold Digger" there wasn't a song that seriously made me want to put a gun to my head as much as that one did. CONGRATS KANYE!
DUMBASS is starting to get annoying. 2005 was Mariah Carey's year. There is nothing he can do about it at this point, and I would not say his songs were in the least bit unique.
