I love Nicola by the way, and obviously she's more talented.

But Johnny wanted an answer. The main one? Only one star comes from any group. Cheryl got there first.

I'd like to point out that this is not a new thing.

Nicola was the second girl voted into Girls Aloud by the public.

Cheryl will always be the main star and priority, because she was just born to be.

But like you said, it doesn't take away that Nicola is pure greatness!

The other one was put in ahead of a black girl who would wind up involved in a cheating scandal.

In terms of today's popularity, I'd place Nicola at a third. She got her album into the top twenty, which the Irish one didn't. But she's certainly not as beloved as Cheryl, or as liked as Kimberley. That bit her in the butt.

And I do think Radio 1 has a vendetta against her.

This is unfortunately true, like when Simon Webbe beat out Lee Ryan (though I'm not complaining about that). Hopefully she'll find success somewhere else/later. For now, I'm just glad she's getting the critical praise she deserves.
