now that they have appeared on trl how do you think they will do

if you have heard of them, do you think they will blow up
and if you didnt hear of them before the TRL performance, what do you think and how will they do?

I really wished Panic! would have performed. The video looks great. Proud of those guys.

Academy is has a fantastic album but that performance was really bad. Almost Fall Out Boy bad.

Panic is far better than Academy. They're far better than than anybody right now come to think of it. TRL doesn't deserve them.

Just got Panic's album and I really like it. I hope they get the promotion to become as big as Fall Out Boy.

Panic! will blow up. period.

#1 - I used to like Academy more than Panic. Clearly, the tables have turned. I still love TAI though, album is crazy fun.

#2 - Panic will be bigger than TAI. Video = solid.

#3 - Panic > me.

I think Panic will be #1 on TRL like "Sugar Were Going Down", "Helena", and "Bat Country" did.

Panic! Will Be The FOB of 2006

Panic! At The Disco reminds me a lot of Fall Out Boy....except Fall Out Boy sucks and Panic! rocks. I love The Only Difference Between Martyrdom and Suicide Is Press Coverage. I think they'll blow up, they're really popular where I live.

I haven't heard either band but I'd rather see them on TRL than the usual pop/rap garbage that infests it.

So a little update:

- Over 85% of their tour is sold out. Fastly approaching the entire North American leg of the tour being sold out (UK was pretty much too)

- Panic! was #10 on TRL yesterday.

- Panic! is #52 on the Top 200 albums (jumped over 20 spots this week)

- 'The Only Difference'.. is very close to making the Hot 100.

And it begins

Panic! comes off like a more pretenious Fall Out Boy and their music is barely passable.

They'd be pretentious if only there writing ability wasn't 10x better.
Not to mention the element of dance they incorporate is what separates them from the majority of the Fueled by Ramen scene.

But hey, can't make everyone a fan.

I really don't like Panic!'s video for I Write Sins Not Tragedies...it looked kind of cheap, and pretty stupid. It was a really ****** choice for a single and the video was ****** too, I'm pretty disappointed. They seem really weird - in a bad way - in their videos, the lead singer reminded me of Willy Wonka . Their music without all the videos is more appealing to me.

It looks cheap because it is
remember their budget is on a very small independent label.
They are meant to be different and what you so call "wierd"
with alot of the music sounding the same these days, its nice to see something fresh with the dance incorporated into the sound. even if their influence is from fall out boy, they twist it into something unique, something that is rare in the scene these days

I love the fact that they're different, but the whole concept of the video is what didn't appeal to me, which is why I called it "weird". And yeah, I forgot about the whole independent label thing, so sue me. And I love how they have dance incorporated into their songs, it's different and unique as you said, and I happen to think they're miles better than the ****** FOB.

My biggest problem with the video is not the cheapness of it (it doesn't look that cheap, personally) but it just feels like they are trying too damn hard to be all avant garde and original and ****. When MCR rolled out "Helena" is was different and stylish but not all that pretentios. Not that Panic and MCR are even close to similar, but the recent stylish vids (Cool, Mr. Brightside, etc) have done with without feeling like they had to show some **** they are not.

Yeah,,,the video feels fake as hell to me.
