IMPRESSIVE sales for Coldplay!
Kelly's are good as well. I'm sure a lot of people were expecting her to flop.

Kelly's and Coldplay's numbers are on point of what I thought they would do.
Michael Buble could be the "Josh Groban" or "Andre Bocelli" of the year. Those sales are pretty massive for a Christmas album released in October.

Kelly's sales are on track to being what I was originally thinking, though I would've liked a 200K debut but eh we can dream.
Michael's Christmas album is going to sell about 2M by the end of its run. The album is good too, it's been on repeat for about 2 days now.

Reprise’s Michael Buble Christmas album will bow with 100-110k, but look for it to be a consistent seller through the end of the year.

I didn't realize how successful Michael Buble is:
Michael Buble - 1 million+
It's Time - 3 million+
Call Me Responsible - 1 million+
Crazy Love - 2 million+
Maybe it's an AC thing, but his Christmas album will probably sell every Christmas.

COLDPLAY HEATS UP THE CHARTS
Capitol Records Great Rock Hopes Will Debut With 425-450k; Clarkson, Buble Next
October 26, 2011
Coldplay just added some value to its parent company EMI Group, which remains on the Citigroup auction block.
Chris Martin and the gang’s fifth Capitol Records release, Xylo Myloto, is set for a #1 debut on next week’s HITS chart with sales of between 425-450k, based on one-day reports from those music retailers who haven’t closed their doors to set up Herman Cain presidential campaign headquarters.
The band’s previous release, June ‘08’s Viva La Vida, moved 721k, fueled by a viral Apple TV campaign, on its way to 2.76 in U.S. sales.
19/RCA first-season American Idol winner Kelly Clarkson’s Stronger is off to a nice start, with estimates in the 155-165k range, off from her previous first-week sales of 255k for the March 2009 album, All I Ever Wanted.
Reprise’s Michael Buble Christmas album will bow with 100-110k, but look for it to be a consistent seller through the end of the year.
Showdog’s Toby Keith album, Clancy’s Tavern, should do in the 50-60k range.
Anti-‘s critically praised new album from Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Tom Waits, Bad As Me, is looking at 20-25k in first-week sales.
Merge’s She & Him holiday album, A Very She and Him Christmas, featuring Zooey Deschanel and M Ward, will sell in the 15-20k range, which should remain steady
Album sales were down 7% vs. last week, down 7% vs. same week last year and up 3% year to date.
Track sales were down 4% vs. last week, up 10% vs. same week last year and up 10% year to date.
TEA (Track Equivalent Album) sales were down 6% vs. last week, down 2% vs. same week last year and up 5% year to date.
Next week, the chart will be compared to Taylor Swift's 1 million plus debut with Speak Now last year.

So, it seems that Adele will be at #3 or #4. If she is at #4, it will be her 2nd week outside top 3 QUEEN!

Random thought: Selena Gomez and the Scene's 'When the Sun Goes Down' has only sold about 330K? I swore they had hit 500K, considering the success of LYLALS.

Their last album had one of the biggest hits ever on it. Mylo's singles have all flopped.
