A BRITNEY Spears fan has been killed after falling from a fairground ride following one of the star's gigs.
The 31-year-old had been attending the Toxic singer's Dublin date of her Femme Fatale tour.
She had been on a fairground ride set up outside the O2 arena in the city after the concert when she was thrown to the ground.
The tragedy happened at 11.20pm and killed the woman – who has not yet been named – instantly.The area outside the venue has now been sealed off ahead of a forensic examination by police technical experts.
Officers and the Health and Safety Authority have launched an inquiry to try and discover what happened.
It is understood there were a number of fairground rides outside O2 for the event.
