Reading is fundamental.
The key word is "SUCCESSFULLY" cross genres.
Every artist has crossed genres, but many have not been successful.

Yep. Mine is the queen of different genres. Blues, pop, jazz, R&B, salsa, rock.
Can't wait till she makes full length jazz and blues albums.
