That Chile earthquake sounds SCARY. I've never encountered any natural disaster in my life, not even a minor earthquake tremor. Worst I've experienced is a hard rainstorm that knocked down telephone poles all over town but that's the most extreme.
Our phones were knocked down too and we had no electricity
Everytime that I remember what happened on that day, I can't help but cry.
It was only me and my sister left in our house on that time. When the water started to enter our house I was so scared. I didn't know what to do. Glad my mom and dad made it back home.

1. Multiple earthquakes (regular occurrances on the West Coast), but none that have done serious damage.
2. Mount St. Helens eruption a few years ago (not a serious eruption, but enough to make national, and possibly international, news)
Never experienced anything major though. I consider myself lucky.
Not really. There was a small earthquake around here and I was sleeping. Then my bed started to shake and I thought it was someone who was shaking mah bed
Nope. I live in the Netherlands. Many people call it the safest place on the world to be on in 2012 as seeing almost no natural disasters occur in this country.
No mountains, immensly strong dikes. We've got nothing to worry about.

I lived in northers NY at the time, and the snow was just
That **** was horrible
Got school closed for two days though
I lived through that little earthquake during the summer, & "Hurricane" Irene.
I'm happy I'm here in America but alot of my family members were affected by the Haiti earthquake. Houses literally collapsed on kids coming home from school and stuff
