I come here to talk about really specific music-stuff, since no one really cares that much about music around me. It's certainly not an issue since I have plenty of other things to talk about with people, but here I don't hold back on the music I like AT ALL (including charts - if I tried to explain the charts to people I know )

Whenever people around me talk about music, it's music I've already known for months. And they only know the songs on pop radio (I like A TON of urban music but no one knows because no one around me listens to it or is interested).

Yeah, this is really why I joined ATRL, so I would stop myself from trying to talk to my friends about music. I just redirected it here.
In the old days, ATRL was where most of my friends resided and it took up most of my time. Now? I can not show up for days and even weeks at a time and it would barely bother me, if at all. I try to be here when I can because of my position as a mod here, but my life would be about the same without ATRL, honestly, if not a little better.
No different. No better and no worse. Though if it weren't for here, I probably wouldn't still be talking to KoreanDream, so that being said, having this site is a definite bonus for me.
And I love the daily comedy you guys provide me with.
My life would be the same. The only difference is I would not know some artists that I've discovered here. I discovered Lady Gaga because of ATRL before she became really famous. I would have not known who Rebecca Black was because of ATRL.
idk this is my stress reliever i can get on here and talk about anything and everything which also takes my mind off my busy real world life..ATRL IS SOO relaxing..
