I was pleasantly surprised when Leona Lewis had to push her CD back into next year.
I knew she would flop even harder this era, but never in a million years did I ever expect this amount of flopitude. That good news just sent me over the moon.
The VMA tribute for Britney. The Vanguard Award she won. The music videos this era from Britney, especially Criminal. How much HIAM sold first week. Some effort put in singing on tour made me happy. How well Adele is doing and she's only put out two singles.
I am pleasantly surprised at the number of singles Gaga has released this year...

Pleasently surprised Britney isn't flopping as hard as she usually does... songs are actually getting into the top 10 even and all the singles this era even made it past the 1 million sales point...
