It's weird, especially when we remember they have heavily supported Britney this era. I mean, 'Criminal' may not be the obvious hit, but not even adding it is too WTF for us to ignore. :-/

I know. Its very strange. Let me get Ryan Seacrests phone number out.

But if I remember correctly they didn't add Moves like Jagger til like along time after it's adds date. It's very strange to say the least.

Honestly, Britney's been just as viral as she was during "I Wanna Go" if not more. She wasn't performing "I Wanna Go," either. It's pretty much the same. The difference was that the fans aren't voting for the song on radio. They aren't contacting radio stations. Y'all blame it on the fact that it's the fourth single, then settle for it because it's her most successful fourth single... but this thread looks nothing like it did when I Wanna Go came out. There were voting links every day and everyone was commenting on them saying they voted. Someone posted like 5 links yesterday and only like 2 or 3 people said they voted...and the stations posted weren't even stations that needed the extra attention (except one). I'm not here for the excuses, the poor logic or the arguments. Fans chose this single and they need to make it successful.

It sold during the beginning of "I Wanna Go" too. It was actually in the top 10 on Amazon at two different times because they put it on sale there twice... if you recall. It's also on sale on iTunes and is being promoted.

yeah but last time it was on sale it didnt even go top 100. and the deluxe edition is not on sale, and its back in the top 200. why the negativity martian? is something wrong?

no! Never. Even if Criminal ends up underperforming, I will never regret having put my hope on it, ever. This song is such a masterpiece, it's so different from everything else and Britney is taking a risk, if she didn't want to take a risk she wouldn't even bother and she would've released DDB or BFB. I am very greatful this became a single and I won't blame anyone for (if) its poor commercial success, but the general audience that only appreciates generic ****.

I love Katy Perry to death but the only reason she keeps having hits after hits, it's because she doesn't take any risks about releasing a single, "The One That Got Away" is her first risky single from this era, but she is at the top at the moment so she will probably find success.

Again: I am so greatful to Britney for releasing Criminal as a single.

I'm not being negative. Y'all are giving me **** because I like Big Fat Bass. Why the **** does anyone else care what song I like? I'm still voting for "Criminal" every day. I woke up this morning and voted on every pop station before I got out of bed on my phone (because it's really easy on Android). Then I log on here and people are saying stupid **** like...

"Well, it's her best fourth single, that's enough."
"At least we got a video for it, that's all I wanted."
"Well, I'm glad they chose a mid-tempo single."
"The flute is so risky! ZOMG I can't believe she did that!!"

People are settling and making excuses for their laziness.... my favorite thing is how every week the say, "Well, we just need to wait. If it's not doing better next week, then I'll say it's a flop." The increases have gotten smaller since last week, which are about the same as the week before. It's bad and it shows that people aren't voting.

I hear people calling into radio stations requesting Katy Perry and Adele like crazy right now. Never Britney.

I'm the one still supporting criminal and still requesting it as often as i can, and i'm not doubting britney, i'm just not delusional. You'd have to be a real fool to think that BFB would be as big as I gotta feeling which was a second single that was ACTUALLY PROMOTED A LOT, something britney doesn't and won't do.

And stop with the flute ****. I didn't even vote for criminal as a single, i voted for inside out because i just wanted a mid tempo, but unlike you i'm cool with criminal getting released because it's different and also a mid tempo.

no, before the video the deluxe edition was like #300. I checked it. I've never given you **** for BFB, I actually like it. I just hate when you reply to everyone with some negative remark. IWG was stuck at #11 for WEEKS, and it ended up being top 10 for three weeks. Criminal is slowly climbing, I agree we need to request like crazy, I already did it today too. But enought with negativity, it brings innecesary meltdowns.

Well... I live in the UK and it isn't out here until the 14th of November. So until then I won't be bother trying to get it hot here. And tbh I hope she f*cking promotes it over here! She's done little to no promotion for her actual singles over here which is why they've been seriously under performing (I don't even think I Wanna Go charted).

Also, isn't the Femme Fatale tour in the UK round about the 14th of Nov??? She should totally take advantage of that and get her ass on some shows... The X factor, etc.

Can I just state that Mister Martian is right... While Big Fat Bass isn't a fan favourite, it would certainly do well on radio. It's probably the most radio friendly song on the album. It would DEFINITELY do well in the UK because that's the kind of music we're listening to over here right now.
