Anyone who followed TLC knew that they had issues like every other group. They even set up a challenge to see who would sell more records solo (it never came about), which led to some backstage drama. Stuff like that is inevitable when you're in a group. But it's stupid to argue that TLC was a one-woman band.

Oh Please. Independent Women, Survivor and Bootylicious Were anthems for Women Everywhere. Bootylicious helped a lot of girls accept themselves for who they were and made it okay NOT TO Be the Size Zero to be beautiful as society would have you to believe. I know countless of People who said Survivor Saved their lives. DC Equally Put it down. And It was all PENNED BY THEM. Not someone giving them something to sing.
Writings on the Wall was DC's first taste at international success. Who was here for DC outside of the remix for No No No?
No Scrubs **** on Survivor.
The Writing's on the Wall was still a rather local album. The vast majority of its sales were in the US. Survivor (the album with 3 WORLDWIDE #1 SMASHES, not the single) broke them through in many other regions of the world. LOCAL-LC TLC could never.

Stand Up For Love provided a strong message of hope in the wake of Hurricane Katrina for all.
The song has been touted as the 2005 World Children's Day Anthem as well as in conjunction with Ronald McDonald House Charities.
Society for the Promotion of Community Standards requested that New Zealand radio stations play "Stand Up for Love" to reflect on child abuse after the Nia Glassie abuse case received widespread media attention.

They went on to surpass and Slay All other girl groups and even being the first to do a lot of things as far as girl groups are concerned for R&B Music and Pop Culture.
