Dear fellow ke$ha fans, katy fans and riri fans...
I'm not afraid to say Gaga did create a new era for pop music. She is a legend. What she has done in 3 years is incredible... From small clubs, and to a stadium tour coming... It's just incredible.

Gaga is radical since she desire/drive/need for fame/whatever is more prevalent. But she's not bringing something new musically. Just a different image of it.

Oye, of course a fan of an untalented "singer" called me out.
No surprises in this thread!

She's untalented but she can sell 62 million singles with two albums? And of course your so insecure to answer the question you refer to attacks on my fave, typical Monster. You better believe I called you out on you giving hell to people who didn't agree with your point of view.

GaGa was a true gamechanger a la Madonna/Britney. She ignited the music industry in a way that Katy, Rihanna, Britney, even Beyonce certainly didn't. The fact that she was huge in every territory, not just select ones, really made it that much more apparent.
However, I think her contemporaries are gaining ground on her and this latest era for her is a flimsy one.

Lady Gaga is truly an inspiration for fans, and perhaps other mainstream artists as well! When it comes to fashion, the pop icon can truly make an overstatement, but we speculate her style and originality may have rubbed off on four of the hottest female artists: Katy Perry, Beyonce, Christina Aguilera, and Nicki Minaj!
These ladies may have once been more tame, with conventional haircuts, traditional outfits, and by comparison a limited costume color palette. But now after Gaga’s powerful influence on the world, these artists are transforming their entire wardrobe into Gaga-esque fashion! From cute cuts and simple makeup to psychadelic hairdos and out-of-this-world attire!
What are your thoughts? Is Gaga affecting these artists?

you act like they never wore experimental or high-fashion before.
this is the reason why gaga got so much hate, her fans are so stupid.

go check I Am sasha fierce album photo, it was before gaga.
and all of them you mentioned, wore high-fashion, weirdo thing before gaga.

I think pop music naturally was going to get big again, with or without Gaga, urban music was over, it ruled the music scene for more than 10 years, pop had to take over sooner or later
In fact I consider 2008 the year music began to change, I'm not saying Riri started, but she had the first #1 dance/electro/pop single of they new era and the video was dark and edgy (edgier than Just Dance and Poker face)

I don't see people emulating the ridiculousness that is Lady Gaga. She's an outlier not the norm and people definitely aren't following her example.
