I dont understand why EVERY girl group gets compared to Destiny Childs.

How about we compare TLC to Total, Xscape, or even En Vogue since they were competing against each other way before DC arrived on the scene.

I flew in here once I saw cuz I figured there'd be delusional DC stans who think they are greater than TLC

People are forgetting that TLC was a sisterhood. They weren't just a group, where -- and as much as I hate to say this -- just kicked out members at any given time. T-Boz, Chilli, Left-Eye had problems like every group known to man, however they worked through them. That in my book alone constitutes TLC being a better than DC 4-4-3.

Yes, Destiny's Child could sing better and probably sold more (which has been debated over and over again). As much as I love them and their music, but I never really had a personal connection to them as a whole. I was mainly here for Beyonce with Kelly following. Michelle, LaTavia, LeToya and Farrah (for the two weeks she was the fill-in) were always afterthoughts to me, just like they are to the public. I felt connected to each member of TLC. I got to know all of their personalities, and not just one. I loved their individual styles, and they were different and fearless. They weren't the typical big voices group that goes on to get many hits. They incorporated style with quality music and recognizable personalities, and that's why I prefer them over DC. I also preferred other groups to DC.

Gurl, TLC are my first and outmost favorite. They will never be topped, they made my childhood and teen life.

However, when Left-Eye was dead and they came out with 3D, my faith started to fade... Girl Talk was amazing, but the other songs, not so much... They had lost their sparkle.

But let's not forget what they went through in life and despite that what theyhave achieved, i.e T-Boz dancing amazing as she did with sickle cell anemia and then facing a brain tumor and now being healthy again, Left-Eye burning down the house of her boyfriend and then dying in a car accident, Chilli... well having relationships and children with Dallas Austin and Usher

I liked Destiny's Child though

Those people did yes, and it wouldnt be the same if those songs were given to anyone else. So to make you happy, They SUNG amazing songs.
